Story summary

Chirithy tells The Player about the Foretellers, the Book of Prophecies, and the origin of the Medals.

Script

Before quest

[The Player stands with Chirithy at Fountain Square.]

• Chirithy: "Look like you're getting the hang of that thing."

[The Player raises the Keyblade and Chirithy jumps with joy.]

• Chirithy: "Yep, you kinda look the part too!"
• Chirithy: "It's time that you learn how this all came to be."

[The scene cuts to all to a hill where silhouettes of all five Foretellers can he recognized against the rising sun.]

• Chirithy: "Before he disappeared, the one who made me bestowed names on his six apprentices, and passed down the Book of Prophecies to five who came to be known as the foretellers."

[A translucent Book of Prophecies appears and flips its pages.]

• Chirithy: "The five read the manuscript, and were shocked by the final entry."

[The book flips to the last page.]

• Chirithy: "The fated land will be the battleground for a great war. Light will see defeat and expire, while darkness prevails evermore."

[The books disappears.]

• Chirithy: "They decided to draw on the powers of the book to prevent that from happening."

[The scene cuts back to the Fountain Square.]

• Chirithy: "The Medals you're using are one of those powers. They harness unimaginable forces from the future to protect the light and keep the world safe from the inevitable darkness."
• Chirithy: "As for the foretellers, you should know that they share the same goal, but they don't follow the same path. Don't lose sight of yours, okay?"

[The Player nods and the scene cuts to black.]

[Defeat the Heartless in the area to gather Lux.]
