• Queen of Hearts: "Jam? My jam? I've already eaten it all! And even if I hadn't, why would I share it with you? Off with you, before you lose your head!"

• Alice: "I'm so happy I found you! I have the most wonderful news! The Doorknob did have a jar of jam. I hope you didn't go to too much trouble. Thank you for your help! Now, I must go and deliver this before anything else peculiar happens."

• Alice: "Now that they have their jam, they've asked for butter!"
