Story summary

The Player and Chirithy arrive in Castle of Dreams. There they meet the Grand Duke, who is attacked by Heartless. The Grand Duke asks The Player to deliver a letter to the chateau.

Script

Before quest

Chirithy: "Wow, what a grand palace! Too bad we're here on business, not pleasure."
Chirithy: "That's right. Darkness is spreading."
Chirithy: "You don't need much more help, do ya? That says a lot about me as your mentor, you know."
Chirithy: "But we can talk about that later. There's darkness to banish!"

Grand Duke: "Oh, this is terrible! How will I carry out the King's orders?"
Grand Duke: "What's this? You'll do away with these—these fiends?"
Grand Duke: "Well, then you have my deepest gratitude. If it wouldn't be too much, might I also ask a favor?"
Grand Duke: "Would you be so kind as to make a delivery to the chateau that's just ahead?"
Grand Duke: "It's a very urgent and important message from his Imperial Majesty. I trust it'll be handled with the utmost care."
Grand Duke: "You have my thanks, and that of the King. Now, I must be off. I'm to visit all the eligible maidens in the kingdom before nightfall."
