KH III King Mickey [EX] was given away to all players on February 11, 2018 in both the English version and the Japanese version, to commemorate the holding of the event for Kingdom Hearts III at D23 Expo Japan 2018.
In the Japanese version, KH III King Mickey [EX] was available as a reward in the Get "KH III King Mickey [EX]" x3 series of VIP Quests from February 12 to 18, 2018.
In the English version, one KH III King Mickey [EX] Medal could be obtained each week in the KH III King Mickey [EX] - Complete the quest to get this special medal series of VIP Quests, from March 5 to April 15, 2018.[1]
