In the English version, Maleficent B was available during the Get Maleficent B Medals! event from March 27 to April 2, 2017. During the event, players had a small chance of obtaining a boosted version of Maleficent B that has 1,000 more base strength.

Starting from the Get the Devious Gentleman and Lady Avatars! Union Cross Event, released on June 26, 2017, Angry Adventurers that appear in Union Cross have a chance of dropping a non-boosted Maleficent B Medal.
