{{Player}} joins three other Keyblade Wielders on a quest to track down and defeat a Blitz Spear. Having reached the entrance to the Clock Tower, one of them wants to go back, since nobody is allowed in there. One of the other Keyblade Wielders doesn't want to give up and heads in anyway, with {{Player}} following her.
{{Player}} finds and defeats the Blitz Spear. On a field filled with Keyblades, Ephemer and Skuld meet. In a flashback, the Master of Masters tells Ava to create a separate group of Keyblade wielders that will survive the destruction of the world, and gives her a list with five names of the people that will become the new Union leaders. Ephemer and Skuld meet the third Union leader, Ventus.
