Some improvements to the lead section; Chip Medal and Keyblade slot multiplier are indirect ways to increase damage and not really the special attacks themselves; and added usage of the in-game term "Power Up".

The number of hits dealt by Special Attacks tends to increase as the Medal increases in rarity. For example, [[Yuna]]'s Special Attack has one hit at 1★ and 2★, two hits at 3★, 4★ and 5★, and three hits at 6★. As of Version 2.3.1, the 1★-4★ Special Attacks have been changed to match the 5★ Special Attack.

The damage for a Medal's Special Attack is determined by a damage multiplier attached to each Medal. This multiplier can be increased by combining two of the same Medal of the same rarity to fill in one dot. A Medal's Special Attack power can be increased by fusing in [[Chip]] Medals to increase the Medal's strength, through unlocking and maxing the Medal's [[Special Attack Bonus]], and by positioning Medals in slots on your [[Keyblade]] that have a multiplier. Some Special Attacks have a multiplier range, and increase in power if certain requirements are met. For example, [[Sonic Blade]] inflicts more damage to sleeping targets, and [[Zantetsuken]] inflicts more damage the lower the player's HP.
