Quest 963 takes place in Candy Kingdom.

Story summary

The Player, Ralph, Felix, and Vanellope arrive at the Race Track. While Vanellope races, Calhoun informs the others that the cy-bug that came to Candy Kingdom with Ralph has multiplied. At that moment, a swarm of cy-bugs attack.

Script

Before quest

[At the Race Track, King Candy addresses the people through a screen on a zeppelin.]

King Candy: "My sweet subjects! I can, without a pinch of hesitation, assure you... ...that I have never been so happy in all my life to say the following words."

[The board of racers is shown, with a cross through Vanellope's image.]

King Candy: "Let the Random Roster Race commence!"

[Vanellope, Ralph, Felix, and The Player arrive at the track in the kart.]

Ralph: "Remember, you don't have to win. Just cross that finish line, and you'll be a real racer."
Vanellope: "I'm already a real racer."

[Ralph, Felix, and The Player jump off the kart.]

Vanellope: "And I'm gonna win."

[Vanellope drives off. On the board, the cross from Vanellope's image is removed.] [On the scoreboard, Vanellope takes over 2nd place.]

Ralph: "Okay, kid. Let's finish this thing without any more surprises."

[Calhoun] walks up to Ralph, and punches him.]

Calhoun: "Hope you're happy, junk pile. This game is going down, and it's all your fault."
Felix: "My lady? You came back!"
Calhoun: "Can it, Fix-It."

[The Player happily walks towards Calhoun.]

Calhoun: "And you, keep your mouth shut."

[The Player looks disappointed.]

Calhoun: "That cy-bug you brought with you multiplied."
Ralph: "No, it died in the taffy swamp."

[A swarm of cy-bugs emerges from the distance.]

Calhoun: "Bullroar."

[Calhoun grabs her gun, and shoots down two cy-bugs.]

Calhoun: "Are you just gonna stand there? I need backup!"

[The Player and Ralph nod, while Felix looks worried.]

Calhoun: "You evacuate the civilians."
[Felix nods happily, and runs off.]
